Aplicants must Belizean Citizens, physically and mentally fit, between the ages of 18 and 23 years, withh a minimum of a primary School Diploma.  Additional Qualifications will be an asset.  Registration date for applicants is 24 April 2010 at the above BDF locations in the Districts. 

Applicants must present a Socail Security card, an Official Birth Certificate and a recent Police Record at the time of registration to sit the exam.

Come prepared to do a written, practical test, interview and phyisical assesment.  Adequate clothing is required for the physical assesment.

Recruits

 We mold civilians to become disciplined.  To be both mentally and physically fit and be able to cope and operate under extreme and harsh conditions, also to train the individual to become an infantry soldier.

OUTLINED SYLLABUS

The individual will undergo all basic military training such as drill, Signals, Map Reading/Navigation, Field craft, Skill At Arms, First Aid, Law of Arm Conflict, Rules of Engagement, Crowd Control, Unarmed Combat, Tactics and General Knowledge.
